Second Saturday – “Walk & Talk”

A gathering for residents of Nowton for a “Walk & Talk” around the village and local footpaths.  There could be two groups: one for a longer more ambitious walk (circa 2 hours) and another for a gentler distance and time (circa 1 hour).  We will decide on the day what suits everyone.

Meet at Nowton Village Hall for a 10 am departure.

EDIT:  The weather is looking like being really nice for this Saturday and we can now all enjoy safely using the recently cleared pavement along the Nowton Road to the Village Hall.  Here are two circular route suggestions:

Longer Route: Village Hall -> Church -> High Green -> Park Lane -> Trig Point -> Hardwick footpath -> Brecky Ley -> Nowton Park -> Village Hall

Shorter Route:  Village Hall -> Church -> High Green -> Sheepwash Lane -> Cooper Lane -> Village Hall (or even shorter if coming down Home Farm Lane after the Church)
